hey folks, hope you are all enjoying your summer, wherever that may be(just watched the footage of nice and smooth at the bklyn hiphop festival, wish i was there!). so i thought it would be fun to have a remix contest for the newly released "inversions of the colossus"; we've got a stellar revamp of "the glow"

from Flosstradamus, and the winning remix will appear as the b-side! so get cracking on it, have fun, do whatever you want.

A little update

cot damn, can't believe we're HALFWAY thru the 50-some-odd US tour already. thanks to everybody who came to the shows; it couldn't have gone better(ok, we had a few "loose" shows at the beginning of the tour, but shit, that's gonna happen; this is the most complicated tour i've ever done! don't worry, we've got it down to a science now).

for the record, i might have said this before, but i do feel compelled to say it again; i really would implore you to come to one of these shows this year for 2 reasons:

1-this is the most planned out/intricate/thought out/awesomest show i've ever been a part of. easily. by far. i can say this with a clear conscience. costume changes. custom built electronics. new songs and old. 3 turntables, 2 mixers, 1 sampler, 1 serato rig(PLUS a crate of vinyl), guitar, bass, drums, vintage and new analog synthesizers, visuals, and 2 hand puppets to boot.

2-the odds of doing this particular set again are relatively slim. you never know how things are gonna shake out; who knows? this might be my last time i EVER go out with this show(or any?). so yea, get it while it's hot.
